About LAGreen

Building a market for green bonds in Latin America

LAGreen is the first investment fund dedicated to promoting the green bond market in Latin America.

By investing in green bonds and supporting new issuers with technical assistance, LAGreen facilitates access to this fixed-income instrument for green finance initiatives in the region.

The fund promotes best practices and high-impact standards and aims to consolidate green bonds as instruments to mobilize funding from international capital markets. This will assist in financing the region’s transition towards green economies.

Investors in the fund can manage their risk exposure through its tranched capital structure, which also offers a risk cushion for noteholders provided by subordinated share classes.
