Frankfurt, 12 March 2024 - Finance in Motion has been included in the ImpactAssets 50 (IA 50), the list of the top 50 impact managers worldwide, for the eighth time in a row. For the third time in a row, Finance in Motion is listed as an Emeritus Impact Manager, a recognition for consistent impact commitment that is only awarded to managers with a track record of several years. "We are delighted about this recognition, as the IA 50 database has become the globally recognised gold standard in the evaluation of impact managers in recent years," says Sylvia Wisniwski, Managing Director Finance in Motion.
The ImpactAssets 50 (IA 50) is a publicly accessible database that provides funders, investors and their advisors with an insight into the world of impact investing and serves as a basis for many investment decisions. Only fund managers who have been on the list for at least five years are recognised as Emeritus Impact Managers. "The renewed inclusion in the database confirms our commitment to promoting positive impact and sustainable development through innovative investment solutions," says Wisniwski. Finance in Motion advises funds around the world on issues ranging from climate protection and biodiversity conservation to the promotion of entrepreneurship and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Inclusion in the database is so important because all impact managers worldwide are scrutinised by an independent committee. "Over the years, we have developed a rigorous application, analysis and evaluation process that helps the review committee select interesting fund managers for the IA 50 directory," says Margret Trilli, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of ImpactAssets.
