Melanie Aimer

Frankfurt, 18 March 2026 – Finance in Motion, one of the leading impact asset managers, has appointed Melanie Aimer as Chief Commercial Officer with effect from 1 March 2026. She will bring her financial expertise to bear across the business. She will strengthen the company with her international expertise. Her appointment is part of a strategic realignment designed to further drive Finance in Motion’s growth objectives.

Under Melanie Aimer’s leadership as Chief Commercial Officer, Finance in Motion is consolidating its Business Development, Partnerships, Sales and Marketing & Communications functions. This reflects the company’s commitment to evolving its organizational structure to continue delivering client propositions that remain relevant, forward-looking, and fully aligned with the needs of a rapidly changing market.

Aimer brings more than two decades of experience in international financial services. Most recently, she served at Schroders as Head of Client Group Transformation, where she led extensive transformation programmes. Prior to that, she held a number of positions at Barclays, most recently heading International Banking as well as Global Marketing, Digital Channels and Client Experience for the Private Bank and Wealth Management divisions. “With her strategic vision, international network and deep understanding of client needs, she is an ideal addition to Finance in Motion,” said Sylvia Wisniwski, CEO at Finance in Motion.

Melanie Aimer commented: “After many years in mainstream financial services, I wanted to apply my experience where purpose and performance truly intersect. At Finance in Motion I will help mobilize investor capital that expands opportunities across emerging and developing markets where real world impact is being created. That purpose inspires me every day.”

“The market is evolving faster than ever before, investor expectations are shifting, and both public and private capital providers are demanding clear added value and tailored solutions,” said Sylvia Wisniwski. “We have therefore further developed our structures and deliberately strengthened our capabilities. In Melanie Aimer, we are gaining an experienced leader who will play an active role in shaping this journey.”
